What is KrisonAV?
KrisonAV is a content management system (CMS), which enables you to build Web sites and online applications. It is based on Codecharge Studio, that makes it extremely powerful and secure. KrisonAV templates are based on Artisteer meaning that it is extremely flexible. Visit Codecharge and Artisteer for more information.
The best part is that, KrisonAV is an open source solution licensed under the GNU General Public License and freely available to everyone.
There is also a commercial version which includes all Codecharge Studio's project files for those who feel that KrisonAV do not fully satisfy their expectations. Some basic features of KrisonAV:
If you can use a computer, you can manage the content for your website. People with average knowledge of word processing can create the content easily. No HTML, no programming skills required. Using a graphical user interface, authors can simply create articles, insert images, multimedia files, schedule content (and much more) to build and maintain a dynamic website. You will never need to make another menu button again, or pay a web designer to do it for you. Each time you add or change a page, the menu will be automatically updated to reflect the change.
You do not need to involve web designers or programmers each time you want to modify something - you are in control of your website.
KrisonAV improves the lifecycle of your website. The "look and feel" of your site can be changed using Artisteer’s templates, leaving existing content and page architecture untouched.
Typically based on a common web browser. Edit anywhere, anytime.
Menus are typically generated automatically based on the database content and links will not point to nonexistent pages.
Users have assigned distinct roles and permissions (Administrators, Site Owners, Writers, Users and Anonymous) that prevent them from touching content in which they are not authorized to change.
Because content is stored separate from design, the content from all authors is presented with the same, consistent design.
Central storage means that content can be re-used in many places on the website .
Extensions like polls, search engines, articles management are typically plugins. KrisonAV can include on the fly every plugin created by Codecharge studio.
Content publication can often be time-controlled, hidden for previews or require a user login with password.
Better security for your site than other CMSs as KrisonAV uses the CodeCharge Security model.
